Every year, we all look forward to the BIG WEEKEND at the end of July; our very own Bass Lake Festival! This year's festival is quickly coming together with a lot of people getting involved. Sponsors continue to take on many of our traditional events, and we look forward to even more. If you have an idea for an event, would like to sponsor an event, or just volunteer a few hours, please let us know!
The festival was officially formed in the 70's, but many of the events were formed long before then. This is one of many Bass Lake tales where many of the details are known by some of our long time residents and visitors. Dig for more details on this on some of those late summer night sitting around the fire!
The Bass Lake Festival is a long tradition that solely relies on money generated from fundraisers, corporate sponsors and community support!! Your financial support allows us to offer a festival full of events for all ages. Therefore, we need your help and support to keep this tradition going! If you are interested in donating, go to our CONTACT US page for our address. Check our facebook page to find out when our meets will be.

Grand Marshall 2025
Our 2025 Grand Marshall is…… Al Randall!!!!
Al Randall has been a beloved presence around Bass Lake for an incredible 68 years, proudly representing the third generation of Randalls to cherish its beauty. In 1971, he and his late wife Debbie began camping at the Bass Lake State Campground with friends, a tradition that quickly blossomed into a way of life. The two embraced every festival and dove headfirst into the community's many activities, from becoming the volleyball champions of 1978 to winning fishing contests, with their hard-earned trophies still proudly on display. Al and Debbie raised their daughter Sara to share that same love for Bass Lake. Today, she and her husband Greg carry on the tradition, enjoying the lake with their own family and friends. In 2006, Al and Debbie made Bass Lake their permanent home, deepening their roots and commitment to the community. Al has given back in countless ways, both financially and hands-on, supporting everything from annual fireworks fundraisers to restoration efforts at the state beach and campground. He played a key role in rebuilding the pavilion and led cleanup efforts following major storms. A proud member of the Lions Club and the VFW, Al is also known for donating pies to Scoops and Smiles each year for their Thanksgiving dinners. Whether he's lending a hand to neighbors or mowing lawns with a wave and a smile, Al continues to embody a quiet, steadfast devotion to the place and people he loves. Congratulate Al when you see him!
